Catalano earns doctorate degree
Charles Stephen Catalano was awarded a doctorate degree in communication from Purdue University in May. Catalano, son of retired U.S. Army Sgt. Maj. Daniel W. Catalano of Grindstone and the late Cheryl A. Catalano, is employed as the director of policy research and communications at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in Collegeville, Pa.
He received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communication from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1993 and 1997, respectively, and an associate degree in liberal arts from Valley Forge Military Junior College in Wayne, Pa., in 1991.
He is the grandson of Stephen S. Catalano of Grindstone and the late Venicia M. Catalano and the late Charles H. Patterson and Dorothy M. Patterson of Uniontown.
Catalano and his wife of 15 years, Chasity L. Pittman, reside in Phoenixville, Pa.
