He… Charles E. Robbins, 64 years of Smithfield, Pa. died Friday, June 6, 2008 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
He was born June 11, 1943, in Uniontown, Pa., son of the late Marion Lewis Robbins and Gwendolyn Alverta Huey.
Charles was a self employed guitar teacher in the local area having taught thousands of students over his forty-five year career.
Surviving are his wife, Ida Black Robbins; four children: Loretta McCullough and husband, Scott, Uniontown, Pa., Scott Walls and wife, Marcy, Fairchance, Pa., Jacki Arnold and husband, Ian, Liverpool, England and Linda Robbins, Dunbar, Pa; eight grandchildren; one brother, William Robbins, McClellandtown, Pa. and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday 2 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 until 11:00 a.m. the hour of service.
Interment will follow Walnut Hill Cemetery, Georges Township, Pa.
