Frank James Collingwood, age 74, of Connellsville, Pa., passed away Friday morning, June 6, 2008, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, Pa.

He was born April 4, 1934 in Lemont Furnace, Pa., the son of John Collingwood and Frances Kolosky Collingwood.

Frank graduated from North Union High School.

He was a United States Army Veteran.

He was a member of the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood (Pa.) and The Slovak Club in Connellsville.

Frank loved his family and he loved his cars. He also loved to travel.

He was very gifted and could fix anything.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, John Collingwood, and son-in-law, Rodd Durbin.

He is survived by his loving and devoted daughter, Lisa Collingwood Durbin; his granddaughter, Sydnee Marie Durbin, whom he adored; his loving companion, Janet Marie Tomko; and his sister, Carolyn Skeith and husband John of Woodbine, Maryland; many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Monday morning, June 9, 2008, from 9 until 11 a.m. A Blessing Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Father Michael J. Crookston officiating.

Interment will be in Mount Macrina Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded by the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.

Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
