Redstone Twp. Window broken
Carmen Bruschi of Republic told Redstone police that vandals broke a window at his home on Short Street at 10:45 p.m. Friday, police said.
South Union Twp.
Youths nabbed
State police took three juveniles into custody following a high-speed car chase through Hopwood and other areas of South Union Township early Monday.
Trooper Robert W. McGarvey said in a release that the brief, 2 a.m. chase ended when one of the juveniles stopped the white Volkswagen GTI and they all attempted to run from police.
McGarvey said he and Trooper Timothy A. Kirsch were able to catch all three of the youths, who were not identified because of their ages.
Police later learned that the car was stolen from a home on Collins Avenue in Uniontown around 1 a.m., police said.

Break-in reported
State police said two men broke into a home on Ash Road around 10:15 p.m. Saturday. Police said that Kevin Price, 46, and Linda Lancaster, 34, were in the home when two men broke in.

Citations pending
State police said harassment citations are pending against a 40-year-old man and 58-year-old woman, both of Hopwood, following a fight at a home on Kennedy Lane on May 30.

Harassment reported
State police charged Stephen E. Graft, 39, of Connellsville with harassment after responding to a home on Main Street in Dickerson Run at 11:23 p.m. Saturday. Police listed the alleged victim as Gina R. Heald, 22, of Dickerson Run.

Man arrested
Southwest Regional police said they arrested Domenick L. Ottoviani Jr., 30, of Denbo for driving his all-terrain vehicle while allegedly under the influence of alcohol. Police said they saw Ottoviani around 3:45 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Fayette Avenue and 3rd Street.
He also was cited for operating an ATV on the street, police said.

Two cited
State police at Greensburg cited Victor Joseph Rozycki, 53, of Scottdale and Zina Beth Munn, 44, of Everson for harassment after they allegedly got into a physical altercation at Hawkeye Trailer Park around 8 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Man cited
State police cited Gerald Duritsky, 45, of Uniontown with criminal mischief after he alleged threw a figurine through the window of Stacy Custer’s car while they vehicle was parked on Lincoln Avenue on Saturday, police said.

Theft reported
State police charged Andrea Nicole Bloom, 20, of Perryopolis with retail theft after she allegedly stole assorted doughnuts from the Sheetz convenience store at routes 982 and 119 around 12:45 a.m. Sunday. The doughnuts are valued at $3.99, police said.

Items stolen
Art Ozanich of Uniontown reported to state police that someone stole a black leather computer case and a portable file organizer from his car between May 31 and June 8 while the car was parked at a home on Farm Road, police said.

Car vandalized
State police said Melvin Dewitt of Vanderbilt reported that someone threw eggs at his car around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, and then fled.

Items stolen
William Scott, 47, of New Florence reported to state police that someone broke into the outdoor shed of his home on Indian Creek Valley Road between May 31 and Saturday. Police said numerous items, valued at $1,215, were stolen.
North Union Twp.
Citation pending
State police said an underage drinking citation is pending against an 18-year-old Uniontown man. Police came into contact with the man when they were called to the Holiday Inn on Route 40 for a disturbance around 7 p.m. Sunday, and interviewed the man. He reportedly told police he was 21.

Gas stolen
Dale King of Smock reported to state police in Belle Vernon that someone stole containers of gasoline from his truck between Friday and Saturday, police said.

Damage reported
John Heck reported that someone damaged the basement window of his home on Main Street on Sunday, state police in Belle Vernon said.
