She… Lottie Yauger Daugherty, 94, of Connellsville, Pa., formerly of Coolspring, Pa., died Sunday, June 8, 2008, at her residence.
She was born April 1, 1914, in Coolspring, Pa.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Moses Yauger and Minnie Evans Yauger, her husband, Arthur W. Daugherty, four brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Daugherty had been a member of the Uniontown Church of the Brethren for over 63 years having joined the church in April 1945.
Surviving are three children: Irma Johnson and her husband, John A. of Burkburnett, Texas, Bernard Daugherty and his wife, Margaret of Connellsville, Pa. and Alan Daugherty and his wife, Deborah of Dunbar, Pa.; nine grandchildren: John Johnson, Jr., David Johnson, Steven Johnson, Teresa Gibson, Bernard Daugherty, Jr., Tammy Rugg, Arthur W. Daugherty, Jason Daugherty and Shane Daugherty; 20 great-grand-children; four great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Cecelia Gregory of Baltimore, Md. and many kind nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday in the Grace Brethren Church, Derrick Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., from 10 to 11 a.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Roland R. Maust officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
