Born in Rostraver Township on September 1, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Pauline (Giddings) Hamilton.
A homemaker, Ruth was a member of Concord United Methodist Church in Rostraver Township.
She is survived by her four children: Thomas, Teresa, Linda and husband, Leonard and Marlene and husband, Jim; ten grandchildren: Wendy, Kelly, Jill, Haley, Emily, Mark, Greg, Jane, Andrea and David; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters: JoAnn and Annetta.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas O. Yoder.
Friends will be received on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, BelleVernon/Rostraver Township(724-929-7934) www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Michael Long officiating.
Interment will follow in the Olive Branch Cemetery, Rostraver Township.
