He… Albert J. Tringhese, 89, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Tuesday evening, June 10, 2008, in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born July 10, 1918, in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., the son of the late Carmen Tringhese and Menechella Sirignano Tringhese.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Michelle R. Tringhese Mort on November 13, 2007, his brothers and sisters, Dominick Tringhese, Mary Tringhese Gullia, John D. Tringhese, Carmen Tringhese, stepbrother, Joseph Albano, stepsister, Marguerite Albano Jones and his stepmother, Josephine Tringhese.
Albert was a member of Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister, Altar Server and a member of the Pastoral Council.
He was a graduate of Uniontown Area Senior High School, a mechanic by trade and he was the co-owner of the former Al’s Truck Sales.
Albert was a United States veteran serving in the Army during World War II. He was a member of the General George C. Marshall AMVETS, Post 103, Hopwood, and the Knights of Columbus.
Albert loved to work in his garden.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Madaline Cerra Tringhese; his loving son, Rev. Father James D. Tringhese of Trafford, Pa. Albert is also survived by his loving and devoted grandchildren whom he adored: Joshua M. Mort and Rachel A. Mort; his son-in-law, Charles B. Mort; his sister, Antoinette Tringhese Kearn of Uniontown; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today, June 13, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, June 14, 2008, until 10:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said followed by a 11 a.m. Con-Celebrated Mass of Christian Burial in Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church.
Interment follows in Mount Macrina Cemetery.
