She was born in Uniontown, Pa., on May 17, 1949, the daughter of Helen Myers of Uniontown, Pa., and the late Andrew Myers.
Barbara was a member of St. Peter’s Cathedral. She was a Unit Secretary at St. Vincent Health Center and participated in the American Cancer Relay for the past 10 years.
Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren and also enjoyed reading.
Besides her mother, survivors include two daughters: Erin Lyons of North Huntington, Pa., and Christy Casler of Erie; one brother, John Myers (Brenda) of Uniontown, Pa.; three grandchildren: Izabella and Michael Casler and Keira Graham; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Mark Myers, Sr.
Friends may call at the DUSCKAS FUNERAL HOME, INC., East, 2607 Buffalo Road, Erie, Pa., (814-899-7656) today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Friday, June 20, 2008, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Cathedral.
Interment will be in Erie Cemetery.
