Theodore C. Shaffer, 79, a longtime resident of Point Marion, Pa., passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 in the Golden… Theodore C. Shaffer, 79, a longtime resident of Point Marion, Pa., passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 in the Golden Living Nursing Center, Morgantown, W.Va.
The family will receive friends in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, today and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday in the POINT MARION UNITED METHODIST CHURCH from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Karen Gray and Joe Condoluci, Minister, officiating.
Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, with military rites accorded at the graveside by the Point Marion Veterans Posts.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be offered to the Point Marion Public Library, 339 Ontario St., Point Marion, Pa., 15474.
