Ida (Cedel) Craig, age 93, of Newell, Pa., went home to Heaven on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at the Country… Ida (Cedel) Craig, age 93, of Newell, Pa., went home to Heaven on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at the Country Care Manor, Fayette City, Pa.

She was born on February 24, 1915 in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of the late Gustave and Pauline Grunwald Cedel.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, William T. Craig in 1980 and three brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of the Saint Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Brownsville, Pa., She is survived by two daughters: Sally (James) Garrison of Sharpsville, Pa. and Susan (John) Kopp of Newell, Pa. and a brother John Cedel of Tennessee; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Friends will be received Friday, June 20 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, INC., Fayette City, Pa.

Friends will meet at the SAINT ANDREWS LUTHERAN CHURCH, Brownsville, Pa. on Saturday for a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jack Hernstrom officiating with interment to follow in Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela, Pennsylvania.
