Leona M. Hromada, age 87, of Tower Hill I, Pa., passed away, Wednesday, June 18, 2008.

She was born December… Leona M. Hromada, age 87, of Tower Hill I, Pa., passed away, Wednesday, June 18, 2008.

She was born December 29, 1920, in Isabella, Pa., a daughter of Timothy Treusch and Catherine Dias Treusch.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas John Hromada in 1967, a granddaughter, Deborah Harris, a great great grandson, Christian Hromada, sisters, Catherine Treusch Fix, Dolores Richards and Ella Mae Daves, and a brother, Edward Treusch.

Surviving are children: Katherine J. Jacobs and husband, Claude of Fort Myers, Fla., Thomas J. Hromada and wife, Margaret of Bowie, Md., David F. Hromada and wife, Betty M. and Karen Show, all of Republic, Pa., twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. KISH FUNERAL HOME, 19 Legion Street, Republic, Pa. on Saturday, June 21, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday, June 23, 2008, until 12 noon, at which time Services will be held with the Reverend Roland O’Brien officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
