June 21, 2008 An article published Friday about the Uniontown Area School Board retaining an architect/engineer for building improvement projects at the senior high school and Ben Franklin and Lafayette schools contained incorrect information. It should have stated that Director Alan P. George said that he wants the board to set its sights on sending the projects to bid in the summer of 2009 and begin construction in the fall of 2009. The Herald-Standard apologizes for the error.
