… Laura E. “Sis” Heinbaugh Ellis, age 72, of Washington, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, June 22, 2008, in Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa.

She was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, January 26, 1936, the daughter of Frank Heinbaugh and Viola Burkholder Heinbaugh.

She was a former member of the Vanderbilt Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a number of brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Ellis; one son, Robert A. Uhrin Jr., Star Junction, Pa.; daughter, Beth Ann Bentz and husband Bill, Grindstone, Pa.; two grandchildren: Brande Le Andrews of Colorado and Christopher Bentz of Grindstone, Pa.; and sister, Sandy Knight and her husband Jim of Dawson, Pa.

Friends will be received in the RALPH E. GALLEY FUNERAL HOME, Dawson, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, June 25, 2008, until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service. Officiating Minister will be the Rev. David A. Bell.

Interment will follow in Dickerson Run Cemetery.
