Luzerne Twp. Charges pending

State police in Belle Vernon said charges of indecent assault are pending against a 56-year-old Adah man. Police said the man allegedly inappropriately touched a young male employee around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday in Isabella.

State police in Belle Vernon charged Robert Zayak of LaBelle with criminal mischief after he allegedly broke a window on a vehicle owned by Heath Ashmun of LaBelle while it was parked at the LaBelle Volunteer Fire Department on Sunday evening, police said.

State police said charges of driving under the influence are pending against a 24-year-old Marianna man following a traffic stop on Route 40 near Graham Lane at 3 a.m. Sunday.

State police said someone tried to break into Beer Central at 62 Lebanon Ave. by trying to smash the front door window at the business around 11:50 p.m. Sunday. An alarm sounded and the person fled on foot, police said.

Mailboxes damaged

State police said mailboxes were damaged Sunday evening at the homes of Mildred Stash and James Johnson on Little Summit Road. Police said firecrackers might have been used.

Man injured

State police said Brandon M. Himes, 21, of Scottdale sustained a moderate injury when he hit a wooden fence in his truck and rolled the vehicle over around 1:09 a.m. Saturday.

Accident reported

Uniontown police responded to an accident at the intersection of East Church Street and Beeson Boulevard around 2:22 p.m. Sunday. Police said the drivers involved were Rick Fowler and Charles R. Jordan, addresses unavailable. Police cited Fowler for failure to obey a traffic control signal after he reportedly admitted to running a red light.

Kaelin Bubonovich reported that someone broke into her home at 94 R. Millview St. between Friday and Saturday, according to Uniontown police. Authorities indicated that someone kicked in the front door of her home and stole a 24-inch flat-screen television, two gold necklaces, a video game system, video games and DVDs.

Counterfeit bills passed

Uniontown police said that the manager at Domino’s Pizza on Morgantown Street reported that a driver was paid with two counterfeit $5 bills and one counterfeit $10 bill on Friday. Police are continuing to investigate.

Lynn Thomas reported that someone she knows hit her in the face in the parking lot of a Connellsville Street business around 1:49 a.m. Saturday, Uniontown police said.

Uniontown police said Eric Dorsey reported that a man hit him in the head on Cleveland Avenue around 10 p.m. Saturday.

Uniontown police said someone broke into Joby’s Gulf at 100 S. Beeson Ave. between Friday and Saturday. Police said someone broke into a door behind the building and kicked in the door to an internal office. Police said $251 was stolen.

Uniontown police said charges are pending against a man who allegedly damaged the front screen door to the home of Peggy Morgan at 156 Searight Ave. on Saturday.

Uniontown police reported that a van owned by the Laurel Highlands Foundation had its tires slashed while the van was parked on Coffey Street between Friday and Saturday.

Two cited

Uniontown police cited Kim Cherry and Ronald Hunter after they each allegedly assaulted Dora Mae Branch at Johnny D’s on North Gallatin Avenue on Saturday. Police alleged French punched Branch in the left eye and said later that Hunter punched her in the mouth. Branch also told police that another man shoved her down outside the bar.

Charges pending

Animal cruelty charges are pending against a 14-year-old Uniontown boy who allegedly threw a rock at a rabbit and broke the animal’s back on Friday evening. Police said the boy admitted to throwing a rock at the bunny on Stewart Avenue. Officers had to destroy the rabbit because of its injuries, police said.

Man charged

State police in Belle Vernon said that William Romesburg Jr., 37, of Scottdale was charged with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted Juanita Vega, 32, and Paul Houser, 18, both of Everson, at a home on Everson Street around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Police said that Vega alleged that Romesburg shoved her to the ground several times, and Houser indicated that Romesburg shoved and punched her when she tried to intervene.

Man cited

State police in Waynesburg said that Frank Michael Santucci III, 33, of Clarksville was cited for harassment after he allegedly slapped and punched his mother, Jane Beth Bryner, 55, of Second Street, Clarksville, during an 8:30 p.m. argument Sunday. Police also said that Santucci ransacked his mother’s home before police arrived.

State police in Waynesburg said Scott Raymond Morris, 34, of Marianna was charged with driving under the influence alcohol on Sunday evening while driving on Route 188 near Route 221.

Man cited

State police in Waynesburg cited Allen K. Raber, 33, of Waynesburg for allegedly threatening to harm Douglas Dale Walls, 47, of Waynesburg at a home on Foley Road on Sunday afternoon.

Rings stolen

Gloria Eileen Dunseath of Third Street in Mather reported that a diamond-encrusted ring and an opal ring were stolen from her home between June 15 and 17, said state police in Waynesburg.

Man injured

State police in Waynesburg said Jason Carusa of Core, W.Va., sustained moderate injuries when he lost control of his all-terrain vehicle on Bald Hill Road and was thrown over an embankment. Police said Carusa was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., for treatment of injuries following the accident at 2 a.m. accident.

Burglary reported

Gary Reese of Meadow Lands reported that someone broke into his home on Turkey Hollow Road between June 16 and 19 and stole a mower and engine, state police in Waynesburg said.
