He was born November 15, 1915,… Abraham G. Thomas, 92, of Uniontown passed away suddenly on Monday, June 23, 2008.
He was born November 15, 1915, in Barnesboro, Pa., the son of the late George Thomas and Anna Matthew Thomas.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Thomas, brothers and sisters, Hazel Thomas George, Elizabeth Molnar, Joseph Thomas, Mary Mosako, Dr. William Thomas, Thomas “Tommy” Thomas and his daughters-in-law, Debbie Thomas and Mary Jo Thomas.
He was a member of Saint George Maronite Catholic Church and the Knight of Columbus. He was manager of Condos in the State of Florida.
Abraham is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Mary Sahady Thomas; his loving sons: Phillip Thomas and wife, Susan of Uniontown and William A. Thomas of Virginia; his grandchildren: Michael and Phillip Thomas, Erin and Jennifer Thomas, Katy Thomas, Kathy Thomas, Jessica Billy and Christopher Thomas; and several great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the KEZMARSKY FUNERAL HOME, 71 Pennsylvania Avenue, Uniontown, today, June 25, 2008, from 7 to 9 p.m. Final Visitation will be held at 9 p.m. in the funeral home.
Everyone is invited to attend Divine Liturgy on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at 9 a.m., in Saint George Maronite Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Joseph David as Celebrant. (Please go directly to the church Thursday morning.)
Interment for the family is private.
The Parish Rosary Service will be said at 7:30 p.m., today, June 25, 2008, and Service of Ghinnaz will be held at 8 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
