Bicyclist hit by vehicle
A 15-year-old Connellsville boy is recovering in a Pittsburgh hospital after a vehicle struck him while he was riding his bicycle Tuesday evening. State police said Michael Magee was injured when a vehicle driven by Gregory Hartzell, 21, of Connellsville struck him near the intersection of Narrows and Long roads around 7:30 p.m. in Connellsville Township.
Police said Magee was flown by medical helicopter to Children’s Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
Police said they are continuing to investigate the incident.
