Items stolen State police said stainless steel screens and channels belonging to Levine’s Iron and Metal of Waynesburg were stolen from a scrap yard south of Route 21 in Franklin Twp. between 6 p.m. June 11 and 4 p.m. June 14.
Man injured
William B. Kenny, 71, of Butler suffered minor injuries when vehicles driven by Kenny and Lori J. Pochron, 43, of Rices Landing crashed on Rt. 188 in Jefferson at 3:10 p.m. June 15, state police said. Police said neither Pochron nor two children who were passengers in her vehicle suffered injuries as a result of the crash.
Motorcyclist injured
State police said William F. Lewis Jr., 48, of Carmichaels suffered moderate injuries when the motorcycle he was driving crashed on E. Roy Furman Highway in Franklin Twp. at 4 a.m. June 9.
Police said Lewis allegedly swerved to miss a deer and lost control of the motorcycle. Lewis was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., for treatment of injuries.
One injured
Russell Phillips of Waynesburg suffered minor injuries when a vehicle driven by Brittany Donaldson of Waynesburg crashed on Interstate 79 in Perry Twp. at 5:05 p.m. June 16, state police said.
Phillips was a passenger in the vehicle, police said.
Money stolen
State police said sometime between 10:30 p.m. June 15 and 4:45 a.m. June 16 someone entered Duane Yost’s residence on Steel Hill Road in Mt. Morris and stole $500 in cash and three credit cards.
Man cited
State police said that Frank Michael Santucci III, 33, of Clarksville was cited for harassment after he allegedly slapped and punched his mother, Jane Beth Bryner, 55, of Clarksville during an 8:30 p.m. argument June 22 at her residence on Second Street in Jefferson Twp. Police also said that Santucci ransacked his mother’s home before police arrived.
Teenager injured
State police said George Mayle Jr., 16, of Morgantown, W.Va., suffered moderate injuries when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving crashed on Bobtown Hill in Dunkard Twp. at 3 a.m. May 31. Mayle was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., for treatment of injuries.
Criminal mischief
Billie Jo Brady of Dilliner told state police that someone smashed her vehicle’s passenger side front window while it was parked in front of her Maple Street residence and stole a purse from the front seat at 4 a.m. June 19. The purse contained nothing of value, police said.
Woman arrested
State police said charges of driving under the influence of alcohol are pending against a 25-year-old Lake Lynn woman. Police stopped the woman for driving with an expired inspection sticker on Rt. 88 in Cumberland Twp. around 3 a.m. June 20.
Theft reported
State police said someone stole a 2006 Kawasaki KLX110 motorcycle, green in color, from High Point Raceway on June 15. The motorcycle is owned by Hansen Beverages of Corona, Calif., according to police.
Burglary reported
State police said someone smashed a hole in the cement wall of Walt’s Auto Clinic in Waynesburg sometime between June 17 and 18. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact State Police at Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
Pistol stolen
Kenton Clutter told state police that sometime on June 17 smeone stole a pistol from his 3rd Street residence in Mather, Morgan Twp.
Man arrested
State police said Scott Raymond Morris, 34, of Marianna was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 7:55 p.m. June 22 while driving on Rt. 188 near Rt. 221 in Morgan Twp.
Man cited
State police cited Allen K. Raber, 33, of Waynesburg for allegedly threatening to harm Douglas Dale Walls, 47, of Waynesburg at a home on Foley Road in Franklin Twp. at 2:10 p.m. June 22.
Burglary reported
Gary Reese of Meadow Lands reported that someone broke into his home on Turkey Hollow Road in Center Twp. between June 16 and 19 and stole a Swisher 44-inch trailcutter mower and engine, state police said.
Rings stolen
Gloria Eileen Dunseath of Mather reported that a diamond-encrusted ring and an opal ring were stolen from her home between June 15 and 17, state police said. The estimated value of the rings is $1,500. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact State Police at Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
Man injured
State police said Jason Carusa of Core, W.Va., sustained moderate injuries when he lost control of his all-terrain vehicle on Bald Hill Road in Perry Twp. and was thrown over an embankment.
Police said Carusa was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va., for treatment of injuries following the accident at 2 a.m. June 22.
Trespassing
State police said someone broke into a building owned by the Southwest Pennsylvania Water Authority in Jefferson and tried to steal money from a vending box sometime between June 22 and 23.
Juveniles charged
State police said three teenagers were charged in juvenile court for selling and possessing marijuana at West Greene High School on May 9. According to reports, a 16-year-old juvenile was charged with selling marijuana to a 15- and 14-year-old at the school.
The names of the juveniles were not released because of their ages.
