You are my sunshine
Kathryn T. Tworzydlo, 89, of Washington formerly of Richeyville died Saturday, May 3, 2008, in Canonsburg General Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born September 28, 1918, in Walkertown, Pa., a daughter of the late Paul and Mary Kukuc Velcheck.
Kathryn shared her birthday, September 28, with her mother, Mary, and her daughter, Karen.
She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters: Bethany and Laura and residing at her daughter and son-in-law’s house for the past ten years.
In 1950, she married Frank J. Tworzydlo, who died December 5, 1998.
Surviving is one daughter, Karen and husband, George S. Mucho of Washington, Pa.; two granddaughters: Bethany Kay of Moore, Oklahoma and Laura Elizabeth of Washington, Pa.; three sisters: Anne Dwyer of St. Augustine, Fla., Helen Schatz of Long Island, N.Y. and Elizabeth Nicolls of New Jersey and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband, are three brothers, John, Joseph, and Paul Velcheck, two sisters, Mary Hritz and Susan Monahan, and also a son, Frank Andrew Tworzydlo, who died in infancy.
Friends and relatives will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pa., where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Fred McCloskey officiating.
Internment will follow in the Washington Cemetery.
