Perry Twp. Items stolen

State police said $200 worth of candy, hot dogs and soda belonging to the Perryopolis Baseball League was stolen from a concession stand at the Star Junction Memorial Park between 3 p.m. Sunday and 5 p.m. Monday. Police said the concession stand was not damaged during the burglary, noting that a locked door was kicked in.

North Union Twp.

Man arrested

William L. Pitts, 18, of Hopwood was arrested and charged with fleeing and eluding police, hit-and-run and other vehicle code violations after Pitts allegedly crashed an all-terrain vehicle he was operating into a police car driven by Trooper Ryan Burns at the intersection of Main Street and Pine Ridge Road at 1:50 p.m. Saturday, state police said. Police allege Pitts attempted to flee following the crash but was stopped by police a short distance from the crash site. Neither Pitts nor Burns was injured, police said.

Charges pending

State police said driving under the influence of alcohol charges are pending against a 38-year-old Lemont Furnace man after he allegedly wrecked his vehicle on Ferguson Road at 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

Vanderbilt

Two charged

State police said two people were charged following an incident at the Checker Flag Bar on Main Street at 7 p.m. Saturday. Police said Mark A. Coliny, 39, of Dawson was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after he allegedly damaged a door at the Checker Flag Bar. Andrew S. Coliny, 41, of Vanderbilt was charged with harassment, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after he allegedly damaged a vehicle belonging to Kayla M. Coliny, police said. All charges were filed at the office of Magisterial District Judge Dwight Shaner, according to police.

Mower stolen

State police said a lawn mower belonging to the Grasso Greenhouse on Buttermore Boulevard was stolen between 4 p.m. April 21 and noon April 26.

Police said a weed trimmer, a saw with a socket set and a 5-gallon gas can also were stolen.

Marijuana found

Drug-related charges are pending against a 22-year-old Smock man after he was pulled over for an alleged registration violation on Route 119 at 9:13 p.m. Saturday and found in possession of suspected marijuana and a pipe, state police said.

Dirt bike stolen

Tracy Lynn Tinkey of Melcroft reported a red and white 1990 Honda CR250 dirt bike was stolen from 303 Ash St. between 1 and 10:30 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

Break-in reported

Uniontown police said a home owned by Vickie Steckley was broken into on Connellsville Street at 7:25 p.m. Monday.

Vehicle damaged

State police said vehicles belonging to Beverly L. Sipe and Rodney Mulroy, both of Connellsville, were damaged while parked at 503 East End Road Extension between 3 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Accident reported

State police said a vehicle driven by Kenneth W. Miller, 38, of Lemont Furnace crashed on Ferguson Road at 11:50 p.m. Sunday.

Charges pending

Harassment charges are pending against a 37-year-old Farmington man who allegedly assaulted a 15-year-old boy at a residence on Kirby Road at 2:22 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

Theft reported

State police said charges for theft are pending against a Uniontown man after he allegedly stole more than $125 from the Exxon service station in Smithfield in late April.

Items stolen

State police said a video game system and video games owned by David Conaway of Waynesburg were stolen from his home on Sugar Run Road in Franklin Township, Greene County, between 12:30 and 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

Metal stolen

Uniontown police said cast iron items owned by Kelly Construction were stolen from a location on West Main Street at 7:45 a.m. Monday.

Welder stolen

Thomas Brady of Brownsville told state police that his welder was stolen from a location on Kramer Street between 2 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

Jefferson Twp.

Vehicle recovered

State police said a box truck owned by Samson Glass and Mirror of Eighty Four that was reported stolen was found burned on Lynn Bottom Road Monday.

South Union Twp.

Man charged

Roger William King, 43, of New Salem was charged with disorderly conduct following an incident at a business in South Union Township at 5:18 p.m. Monday, state police said.

Saltlick Twp.

Machine damaged

State police said a car wash coin machine at Ed’s Car Wash on Indiancreek Valley Road was damaged between 9:30 p.m. April 24 and 8 p.m. April 25. Police said $20 in change also was stolen from the machine, estimating total damage at $450.

Dunkard Twp.

Vandalism reported

Monazam Sherry of Morgantown, W.Va., told state police that vandals threw garbage on property she owns on Power Plant Road in Dunkard Township between April 1 and Monday, police said.

Medication stolen

Sherry Mick of McClellandtown told state police that prescription medication was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at a business on Route 21 in Monongahela Township between midnight and 9 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

Tools stolen

State police said tools and plumbing supplies owned by Trader’s Plumbing and Hearing of Jefferson were stolen from a vehicle parked in Jefferson between 4:30 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.

Charges pending

State police said charges for driving under the influence of alcohol are pending against a Waynesburg man following a traffic stop on Route 21 in Franklin Township, Greene County, at 7:34 p.m. Monday.

Equipment stolen

State police said construction equipment owned by Ligonier Construction Co. of Ligonier was stolen from a location in Dunbar Township between 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday.
