Multiple Sclerosis Club installs new officers

The Multiple Sclerosis Club of Fayette County, founded 28 years ago, recently installed new officers. They are, seated, (left), Sister Dolores Vanisechak, past president and consultant; Joanne Golden, secretary; in back, Sister Eleanor Mary Horvat, sunshine person; Irene Zawelensky, treasurer; Melissa Pilipovich, vice president; and Devona Unice, president. The club currently has 23 active members. The club formed in April 1974, by Robert Ritchie and Katherine Shoenberger, now deceased, along with Beverly Kolencik Hurley. The first meetings were held at the Eagle’s Club, and since 2002, the Sisters of Mt. Macrina donated their facility. Activities are planned and speakers engaged for monthly meetings.
