Bethel Baptist Church adding an extra Sunday service to schedule

1 min read

Bethel Baptist Church, 306 Edison St., Uniontown, is adding another Sunday service. Worship on Sunday is now offered at 9 and 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. This week’s morning services include the Rev. Bryan Kelley bringing the message and Sally Soom presenting special music.

The 6 p.m. service will be a study from the book of Revelations by Kelley. At the same time, teenagers and college-age students will meet for a study from the book of Daniel.

Midweek prayer service is Wednesday at 7 p.m. when Kelley continues the Bible series “Fear Not.’ Children’s church is available for all services.

Kelley and his wife, Tamara, returned to their hometown to start the church in 2003.

The church started in Hopwood with 36 in its first service and is now averaging 70 to 80 people on a weekly basis.

This led them to start the second Sunday morning service.

The church is seeking a piece of property and a building in North Uniontown Union Township. For more information, call the church at 724-437-3090.
