Lori’s Look
Alright, today’s Lori’s Look is a little different as I was getting ready for work this morning, the spirit of one Carrie Bradshaw from every man’s favorite show “Sex and the City” (just kidding, my boyfriend hates that show) must have taken over my body for a few minutes. You see, I was very dedicated to watching SATC, and over the years I have come to realize that this fictional character and me are actually the same person. So came to mind the episode where Carrie decided to marry herself, and she registered for a $400 pair of Manolos that were stolen at a friend’s wedding party.
Now, what made me think of this episode was that this past weekend my best friend had her baby shower. She is one of the last (besides me, of course) to have a baby out of all of my friends. Now as all of my friends are now having babies, I have yet to get married or be engaged for that matter. Now, I am in a serious and committed relationship, but why do I have to be getting married or having a baby in order for people to buy me things? I need a fancy cutting board and a fondue maker too.
