Robert Marion Maust, age 73, of Fairchance, Pa., died Saturday, May 17, 2008, in his residence with his loving family… Robert Marion Maust, age 73, of Fairchance, Pa., died Saturday, May 17, 2008, in his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was born August 26, 1934, in Uniontown, Pa.
Mr. Maust retired as a Foreman with the Pennsylvania American Water Company. He had served honorably in the United States Army and was a private pilot who loved flying.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert Kenneth Maust and Elsie Beverage Maust, two sons, Brian Scott Maust and Keith Robert Maust, a sister, Betty Linderman, a grandson, Christopher Maust.
Surviving are his wife, Violet Sines Maust; a first wife, Carolyn M. Oldland Maust; three children: Mark Edward Maust and his wife, Tammy of Uniontown, Pa., Pamela Marshall and her fiance, Charles Robowski of New Salem, Pa. and Maureen R. Gibbs and her husband, Rick of Fairchance, Pa.; two grandchildren: Brandon Scott Maust of Republic and Megan Briana Maust of Colorado; three stepsons: Charles Rush of Finleyville, Pa., Jesse Rush of Charleston, W.Va. and Shane Rush of Fairchance, Pa.; three step-grandchildren: Jessica Rush of Fairmont, W.Va., Seth Rush of Bruceton Mills, W.Va and Chaz Rush of Fairchance, Pa.; and his five loving dachshunds: Prince, Duchess, Max, Pepper and Bell.
Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, until 11:30 a.m., the hour of Service.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
Military Honors will be accorded graveside by the AMVETS General Marshall Post 103 Hopwood, Pa.
