He is survived by his mother, Patricia Ann Fike Carter; wife, Melody G. Spence Lyngvar; three daughters: Andrea Thieler, Emma and Amber Lyngvar; two sons: Anthony Lyngvar and Levi Lyngvar; four grandchildren.

Friends may call at the CARL R. SPEAR FUNERAL HOME, Bruceton-Brandonville, WV, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 1 until 2 p.m. the time of service.
