The more traditional 11 a.m. service will include Brown’s message and special music by the Asbury Chancel Choir, Sharon Brown, flute and Jim Hutchinson, organist and director of music. BETHEL BAPTIST CHURCH, 306 Edison St., Uniontown, will hold a children’s outreach on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m., which will include a “hike to the cross.’ This event includes preschoolers, accompanied by an adult, through sixth-grade youths. MASONTOWN COMMUNITY KITCHEN, located in First Presbyterian Church, 102 W. Church Ave., Masontown, will serve its next meal on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. The Masontown Business and Professional Women’s association will provide the food and serve a supper of ham salad sandwiches, macaroni salad, potato chips and fruit cups. Take out meals will not be offered until after 6 p.m. The previous kitchen on May 13 served 259 bowls of homemade soup along with sandwiches. The community kitchen is open every other Tuesday and is funded by those attending the meal, local churches and individuals. Dinners are free but donations are accepted.
