Herbert-Shaw
Jacqueline Eva Marie Shaw of Hopwood and James Isaac Herbert were united in marriage Oct. 6 at the Uniontown Free Methodist Church. The Rev. James Jobes officiated the nuptial ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Jack and Christy Shaw of Michael Drive, Uniontown. Parents of the bridegroom are Rose Herbert of Uniontown and J.D. Herbert of Greensburg.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless A-line satin gown with beaded tulle overlay and three-tier scalloped basket weave train and chocolate satin sash. A single layer fingertip-length veil was adorned with beads and scalloped lace edge.
Maid of honor was Jamie Thomas. Bridesmaids were Alexandra Shaw, Megan Gawley, Mandi Harshman and Gretchen Sandy. Rachel Hartman was flower girl.
Bruce Thomas Sr. was best man. Brandon Shaw, Bruce Thomas Jr. and Matt Sleaseman were groomsmen.
A reception was held at the Uniontown Jewish Community Center followed by a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico.
The bride is a junior at California University of Pennsylvania majoring in psychology. She is employed with American Eagle Outfitters.
Her fianc? is a 2001 graduate of Laurel Highlands High School.
They are residing on Buttermilk Lane, Hopwood.
