Carrie M. Famularo Babko, age 90, a lifelong resident of Millsboro, Pennsylvania, died peacefully at her home with her family at her side on Thursday, May 22, 2008.
Born November 15, 1917, she was the Daughter of Frank and Rosalie Famularo.
On February 22, 1938, she married Nick Babko Sr. He died February 4, 1982.
Deceased, in addition to her Husband, are her Parents, a Daughter, Mary Ann, seven Siblings: Joseph Famularo, Benjamin Famularo, Robert Famularo, Grace Nicola, Sarah DeVincent, Kathryn Higareda, Josephine Tenerio.
Surviving are the following Children: Marlene (John) Dranzo of Cokeburg, Pa., Dorothy (Denny) Keys and Linda L. Babko of Millsboro, Pa., and Nick (Deborah) Babko Jr. of Clarksville, Pa. Also surviving are her Grandchildren: John Dranzo III, Karen LeValley, Sharon Dexter, Sheri Siegel, Nicholas Babko III, Matthew Babko; Great-Grandchildren: Ryan Murray, Justin Dranzo, Zachary LeValley, Olivia Siegel and Max Siegel; numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Friends will be received in the FRANK BURKUS FUNERAL HOME, 26 Mill Street, Millsboro, Pa., today (Memorial Day) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, May 27, 2008, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Oliver Plunkett Roman Catholic Church, Fredericktown, Pa., with Rev. Father Paul Gruebach as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa.
Visitation was also held on Sunday from Noon to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
