Lillian Jean Craig Antal, age 79, of Middletown, Ohio, and formerly of Vesta 6, Brownsville, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, May 22,… Lillian Jean Craig Antal, age 79, of Middletown, Ohio, and formerly of Vesta 6, Brownsville, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, in Garden Manor Extended Care Center, Middletown.
She was born March 17, 1929, in Vesta 6, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John Craig and Goldie Frost Craig.
Mrs. Antal retired from Beth-Center High School where she was employed for many years as a custodian.
After her retirement, she enjoyed traveling. She traveled across the United States everywhere from Canada to California.
Her husband, Joseph Antal, died August 10, 1983.
Also deceased are her parents, two sisters, Odessa Ross and Margaret Deems, two brothers, Walter Craig and Albert Craig, and two grandchildren, Joseph Antal and Jody Antal.
Surviving are two sons: Joseph Antal III (wife Ava) of Middletown, Ohio, and David Edward Antal of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren: Scott Swarrow (Susan) of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, Melissa Easton (David) of Salisbury, Pennsylvania, Bethany Perry (David) of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Tiffany Blankenship, Dalton Blankenship and Kaitlyn Taylor all of Middletown, Ohio, Michelle McGinnis of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; and six great grandchildren: Jacob Magera, Riley Easton, Nolan Easton, Nick Swarrow, Nolan Swarrow and Amy Antal.
Friends will be received in the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pennsylvania, Tuesday, May 27, 2008, from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon, the hour of Service with Rev. James Markley officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.
