Man charged State police have filed multiple charges against a Carmichaels man accused of fleeing police following an attempted traffic stop in Mather on May 26.
Trooper John E. Pash said Bradley Joe Patterson, 23, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Louis M. Dayich with fleeing and eluding police, driving under the influence of alcohol, three counts of recklessly endangering another person, possession of marijuana and 22 traffic-related charges following the incident.
During a search, Pash said he found marijuana in Patterson’s pants pocket. Patterson was placed in the Greene County Prison on $10,000 straight cash bond. A preliminary hearing is set for June 5 before Dayich.
Citations issued
The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement out of Pittsburgh said they cited Puffy’s on Main Street in Clarksville for serving alcoholic beverages to an underage buyer April 10. On the same day, police said a citation was issued against the Colonial Tavern in Waynesburg for serving alcohol to a minor.
Plate stolen
Hannah Murphy of Mt. Morris told state police that sometime between May 14-19 someone removed the registration plate from her 1984 Chevy Silverado while it was parked in Perry Twp.
Bike stolen
State police said sometime between May 6-12 someone stole a 2006 KTM SXF dirt bike belonging to David Policz of Waynesburg from a garage on Goodhill Rd. in Washington Twp.
Copper wire stolen
State police said Joshua Fletcher,22, of Fairview, W.Va., Adam Bonnell, 24, of Core, W.Va., and a 15-year-old male juvenile were charged with taking copper wire from a scrap yard owned by Walls Sanitation in Wayne Twp. Police said the theft occurred at 9:43 a.m. May 20.
One-vehicle crash
State police said a 1993 Mazda MX3 driven by Jane King, 47, of West Finley was involved in a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Rt. 21 in Richhill Twp. at 5:10 a.m. May 17. Police said King, who was not wearing her seat belt, suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was airlifted to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment of injuries.
DUI arrest
State police arrested a 42-year-old Carmichaels woman for driving under the influence after she was stopped for a traffic violation along Jacobs Ferry Rd. in Cumberland Twp. at 10:28 p.m. May 20.
Two-vehicle crash
State police said vehicles driven by William Lavins, 79, of Rices Landing and Robert Schattner, 50, of Uniontown were involved in a collision that occurred on Rt. 88 at 1:25 p.m. May 20. No one was injured in the accident, police said.
Item stolen
Helen Six of Greensboro told state police that sometime between May 16-17 someone entered her residence on Pump Station Rd. in Greene Twp. and stole a wall-mounted antique oak hall tree with a shelved mirror in the center. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact state police at 724-627-6151.
Man charged
State police said Jeremy Herman, 22, of Townville was charged with criminal trespassing following an incident on property owned by Phillip Bogden of Rices Landing on Carmichaels St. in Cumberland Twp. at 6:25 p.m. May 20.
Crash reported
State police said a car driven by Tara Riggleman of Dilliner crashed on Mapletown Road at 1 p.m. May 20.
