Henry L.”Pete” Klink, Sr.75, of Espyville, Pa., and a former longtime resident of the Point Marion, Pa. area, died unexpectedly… Henry L.”Pete” Klink, Sr.75, of Espyville, Pa., and a former longtime resident of the Point Marion, Pa. area, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the UPMC Regional Hospital in Greenville, Pennsylvania.

Born June 14, 1932 in Dunbar, Pa., he was a son of the late Arnold and Sylvia Smitley Klink.

He was a coal miner, retired from Dunkard Mining in Dilliner, and a member of the U.M.W.A. and the NRA. An accomplished musician, Pete enjoyed playing country music in his spare time, and every Friday evening would find him playing at the Espyville Community Center. He liked being outdoors, and for many years, he traveled, camped and fished across the country.

Surviving is one son, Henry L. Klink, Jr. and his wife, Cathy, of Greenville; three grandchildren: Jennifer L. Klink, Kimberly S. Furey and her husband, Benjamin, and Jared H. Klink; one great-grandson, Bryce B. Furey; a sister, Ada Sue Sine of Morgantown, W.Va.; a brother, Keith Klink and his wife, Pat of Beulaville, North Carolina, and his dear friend and companion for the past several years, Geri Riley.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Jacqueline Hawkins Klink on May 1, 1999, a son, Barry W. Klink, daughter, Rose T. Klink, and a brother, James Klink.

Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., and Monday until 11:00 a.m., the hour of service, with Rev. David Lee Corob officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, Pa.
