James Thomas McVey, II, age 65, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, in the McVey Personal Care Home. James was born in Connellsville, Pa., on May 6, 1943, the son of James T. and Violet G. Hawk McVey.

James served with the Air Force and was stationed in Panama City. He worked for 29 years as a die setter at Anchor Hocking Corporation.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother Richard Lee McVey.

James is survived by his wife, Jean Guthrie McVey of Uniontown; son, James Thomas McVey, III and wife Tiffany; daughters: Elaine Hughes and husband Timothy and Mary Gluvna and husband John; grandchildren: John Robert Gluvna, II, Derek James Gluvna, Cassie Elaine Gluvna, Tommie Jean Gluvna, Haleigh Dawn McVey, Paige Madison McVey, Cody Allen Christopher and Tyler Nicholas Christopher; aunts: Mamie Ryan and Lois Ryan both of Dunbar; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in

the THOMAS M. DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, today, October 9, 2008, from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, October 11, 2008, until 11 a.m. at which time a service will be held in the Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Geisler__ officiating.

Interment will follow in Brown __ Cemetery.
