He was born August 13, 1942, in Morgantown, West Virginia, son of the late Albert N. Clemmer and Leona Hall Clemmer.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Emily Sutton Clemmer; one daughter, Terri Thomas and her husband, Randy of Morgantown, West Virginia; two grandchildren: Chad Thomas and his wife, Rebecca of Brazil, South America and Priscilla Thomas of Morgantown, West Virginia; one great-granddaughter, Jasmine Stephanie Thomas of Brazil, South America; three sisters: Jeanie Ream of Masontown, Pa., Linda Kmetz of Fairchance, Pa. and Jenny Mientel and her husband, Joe of East Lake, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Albert was a retired coal miner and loved watching football.
The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, September 4, 2008 until 10 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Leslie Fuller officiating.
Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Brownfield, Pa.
