South Union Twp. Air conditioner stolen

Jessica L. Goode of South Union Township reported a window air conditioner was stolen from her Dawson Street residence between 9:10 and 11:35 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

Mailboxes damaged

State police said mailboxes belonging to Erika Asher and Eric J. Bertovich, both of Smithfield, were damaged between midnight and 8:45 a.m. Sunday. Police said Asher and Bertovich reside at 133 and 141 Rubles Mill Road, respectively.

Menallen Twp.

Man injured

State police said William R. Tolnai, 57, of Uniontown suffered minor injuries when vehicles driven by Tolnai and Silvio Urani III, 40, of Uniontown crashed on New Salem Road at 7:52 a.m. Sunday. Urani was not injured as a result of the collision, according to police.

German Twp.

Gas well hit

State police said someone driving what may be a light-colored Pontiac vehicle crashed into a gas well in the area of Balsinger and Foote-dale roads at 12:57 a.m. Saturday. Police said the vehicle, which fled following the collision, would have sustained front-end damage. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the state police barracks in Uniontown at 724-439-7111.

North Union Twp.

Man to be charged

Driving under the influence charges will be filed against a 48-year-old Uniontown man following a traffic stop at the intersection of Coolspring Street and Craig Lane at 8:15 p.m. Saturday. Police said the man failed field sobriety tests, noting that his blood-alcohol content was allegedly twice the legal limit.

South Union Twp.

Item stolen

State police said a catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle belonging to Jeffrey Reckart, 27, while the vehicle was parked in Lowe’s parking lot between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday.

Luzerne Twp.

Crash reported

John A. Nowakowski, 18, of LaBelle was not injured when the vehicle he was driving crashed into an embankment on Alicia Road at 9:50 p.m. Friday, state police said, noting that Nowakowski swerved to miss a deer and lost control of the vehicle.

Fayette City

Block thrown

State police said a cinder block was thrown threw a window of Jennifer Angeline’s Main Street residence at 1:26 a.m. Saturday.

Items stolen

Dawn Rae Ermlick of South Union Township reported several items were stolen from her Snyder Terrace residence between 11:15 and 11:17 a.m. Wednesday, state police said.

Menallen Twp.

Phone taken

State police said a 14-year-old girl reported her cell phone was taken while at a location on Haydenville Road between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Dunbar Twp.

Three charged

State police said Shawn M. Halfhill, 22, of Connellsville, Gregory A. McKinney, 23, of Uniontown and a teenage girl were charged with criminal trespass following an incident at Kimmel’s Auto Wreckers on Aug. 25.

Saltlick Twp.

ATV stolen

An all-terrain vehicle belonging to David Spehar of McKeesport was stolen from 2751 Indian Head Road between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. Wednesday, state police said, noting that ATV was later found on Jockey Knob Road. Police said Spehar’s residence was also entered and rummaged through.

Uniontown

Charges pending

State police said drug-related charges are pending against a Uniontown male found in possession of a small amount of suspected marijuana following a traffic stop at the intersection of Austin and Collins streets at 1 p.m. Thursday.

Statue stolen

A Pittsburgh Steelers statue belonging to Lynn R. Reed of Uniontown was stolen from Reed’s Dixon Boulevard residence around 4 a.m. Saturday, state police said.
