John S. Fronczek, Sr., 65, of Fairbank passed away peacefully Monday, September 1, 2008 at his home.
He was born… John S. Fronczek, Sr., 65, of Fairbank passed away peacefully Monday, September 1, 2008 at his home.
He was born August 11, 1943 at Footedale the son of the late Charles and Eleanor Glowacki Fronczek.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Tate Fronczek, a step-son, Chad Gump, a brother, Vincent Fronczek and an infant sister, Bernadette.
John attended St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, was a retired steel worker from the Clairton Works, a member of the United Steel Workers of America and had been a driver for Konetsco Transportation.
He is survived by two sons: John Fronczek, Jr. and his wife, Denise of Fairbank and William Fronczek and his wife, Tracy of Connellsville; seven grandchildren: Chad Gump, Jr., Chelsea Gump, Christopher Fronczek, Andrew Fronczek, Emily Fronczek, Maitlyn Fronczek and Ryan Fronczek; these brothers and sisters: Charles Fronczek and his wife, Patricia of Germantown, Md., Edward Fronczek and his wife, Flo of New Salem, Valeria Galluzzo and her husband, Dominick of Masontown, Daniel Fronczek and his wife, Carletta of Uniontown, Victoria Huffman of Ruff Creek and Eleanor Kiger and her husband, Dick of Ruff Creek; a God daughter, Amanda Thorsen and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, today, after 7 p.m. Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, September 5, 2008 at 9 a.m. when brief prayers will be said in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, Pa. at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. Father Kenneth G. Zaccagnini V.F. as Celebrant.
Interment in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown.
John was a loving and devoted grandfather who enjoyed spending every second he could spend with his grandchildren.
