Constance L. Works O’Brien
Constance L. Works O’Brien, 69, of Uniontown, Pa., departed this earth to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 6, 2008, with her loving husband of 52 years at her side. She was born September 1, 1939, in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of Bernard Works and Ethel Conaway Works.
Constance was a member of the Little Brownfield Free Methodist Church.
She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and three sisters: Thomas Hoak, Charles Works, William Works, Thelma Carlson, Marie Heinbaugh and Elsie Guthrie.
Surviving is her husband, Charles L. O’Brien. She was the loving mother of seven children: Bobbie Balsone and husband Jim of Uniontown, Pa., Rev. Charles L. O’Brien and wife Ruth of Hopwood, Pa., Terry Whitman and husband Kerry of Fredericktown, Pa., Edward O’Brien and wife Peggy of Uniontown, Pa., John O’Brien of Uniontown, Pa., Brenda Landman and husband Tim of Hopwood, Pa., Michael O’Brien and wife Jennifer of Farmington, Pa.; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; one brother and three sisters: Bernard Works and wife Ruth of Hopwood, Pa., Lynda Brown and husband Bill of Collier, Pa., Shirley Potter of Ravena, Ohio, and Delaine Kalivoda of Chalk Hill, Pa.
Friends will be received in the LITTLE BROWNFIELD FREE METHODIST CHURCH today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, September 9, 2008, from 2 until 8 p.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Charles L. O’Brien, her son, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Little Brownfield Free Methodist Church, Uniontown, PA 15401.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood.
