Kevan D. “Bubba” Leeper

Kevan Dean Leeper, 48, of Brownsville, PA, (Centerville Boro) died at home on Sunday, September 7, 2008 due to complications from diabetes. He was born January 29, 1960, an only child to Frances Wells and William “Bud” Leeper of Brownsville, PA (Centerville Boro).

Mr. Leeper was a 1978 graduate of Beth Center High School. At the onset of his illness, he was one semester away from his bachelors degree in electrical engineering.

On November 21, 1999 he married Sandra Fay Tennant Leeper, who survives.

Kevan was certified in R.H.V.A.C. and was owner/operator of Prompt Heating and Cooling.

Mr. Leeper was a long time member of the Garwood Baptist Church, his minister, Rev. Cliff Reynolds, has been extremely inspirational and supportive throughout his illness. He was also a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 705, Centerville.

Kevan enjoyed spending time at the family camp in Cameron County, fishing, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Surviving, in addition to his parents and wife, is one son, Aaron Leeper of Centerville, PA; one step son, Richie Tennant, of Finleyville, PA; one step grandson, Cameron Tennant of Finleyville, PA; and several aunts and uncles.

Deceased is one brother- William Dean Leeper, who died in infancy, maternal grandparents, Claude and Georgie Wells, paternal grandparents, Joseph and Blanche Leeper and mother-in-law, Betty E. Lemley Tennant.

At the request of the family, all funeral services will be private and held at their convenience. Funeral arraignments are under the direction of the JOHN B. GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, PA.
