WCCC late-start classes to begin
The schedule provides an opportunity for students to complete a full semester of 12 credits in 12 weeks, although some classes are shorter term. Students also have the option of attending part-time and taking just one or two classes. Class start dates range from September 18 through late October. Late-Start classes are scheduled days, evenings and Saturdays. Approximately 60 classes are offered online.
Classroom-based classes will be conducted at Greene County Center, Waynesburg; the Youngwood campus and the Alle-Kiski Center, New Kensington; Bushy Run Center, Export; Fayette County Center, Uniontown; Indiana County Center, Indiana and Laurel Center, Latrobe. A few classes are also offered at the college’s Armstrong County Center at Lenape Tech in Ford City.
Classes are offered in the areas of accounting; allied health; art; business; commercial art and design; computers; criminal justice; early childhood education; economics; English; food service management; graphic design; heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration; history; horticulture; health and physical education; mathematics; office technology; personal development; psychology; reading; real estate; sociology; speech and web design.
The classes are worth from one to three credits each. Tuition is $76 per credit for Westmoreland County residents.
