Delmer “Del” Howard Garee
Delmer Howard Garee, age 94, of Perryopolis, Pa., passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008, in his home. Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 305 Rear Independence Street, Perryopolis, Pa., today, from 1 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service. with Pastor David Means officiating.
Entombment will follow in The Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa
In lieu of flowers, Family asks that you do one of the following: make a charitable contribution to Leader Dogs for the Blind (leaderdog.org), or to the United Methodist Church in Perryopolis, donate a book to the Perryopolis Public Library, make a donation to a local organization in Delmer’s honor, or do an act of kindness to someone in need to honor Del’s memory and his dedication to the local community.
