Mary Rakushin Munk
Mary Rakushin Munk, age 90, of Uppermiddletown, Pa. passed away Friday, September 19, 2008, in the Golden Living Center, Uniontown, with her beloved daughter Madelyn by her side. Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, September 23, 2008, until 10:15 a.m. when Parastas will be held in the Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service follows at 11 a.m. in the Saint Mary’s Orthodox Church, Washington Street, Masontown, Pa., with the Reverend Father Dimitre Dimitrov officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
Panahida will be held in the Funeral Home today at 7 p.m.
Mary’s family wishes to thank Everyone at the Golden Living Center for the outstanding care, love, time, effort and dedication they gave to her for the three months that she was a resident there. You went beyond the call of duty! We will always hold a special place in our hearts for all of you. Not only did you give Mary the best of care, but you reached out to us with such love and compassion during this traumatic time. All of you are truly Angels of Mercy!
