Anthony F. “Tony” Kaprive, of Green Tree, Pa., passed away on Monday, September 22, 2008. Tony was Past President of Allegheny County Funeral Directors Association and Kiwanis Club of Sheraden. He was a member of the board of the Medical Eye Bank of Western Pennsylvania and a member of American Legion Post 496 and F&AM Guyasuta Lodge.

He was the husband of the late Genevieve; father of Joyce (Bob) Cizmarik and Lon (Shannon) Kaprive, both of Tennessee; brother of Shirley Venick of Masontown, Pa.; grandfather of Jennifer (Ty) Decker, Katie (Benjamin) Threatt, Ryan and Kevin Cizmarik and Tony Kaprive.

Friends may call at SPEER-ANTHONY KAPRIVE FUNERAL HOME, 2927 Chartiers Avenue, Sheraden, (Pittsburgh), Pa., today, September 25, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Saint Margaret of Scotland Church, Green Tree, Friday at 11 a.m. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH).
