Helen C. (Balas) Wesolowsky
Helen C. (Balas) Wesolow-sky, 84, of Masontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2008, at home. She was born on April 27, 1924, in Collier, Pa., daughter of the late John and Mary Balas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Frank” T. Wesolowsky on January 4, 2000 and an infant brother, Thomas Balas.
Helen was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Leckrone, Pa.
She was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
Left to cherish her memory are nine children: Rita Moon and Don of Hanover, Pa., Mary Ann Mapstone at home, Bernadine Rattay and friend, Robert Petcheny of Uniontown, Pa., Francis Wesolowsky and wife, Dale Jean of Masontown, Pa., Cynthia Rinaldi of Virginia Beach, Va., Ronald Wesolowsky and wife, Sharon of Uniontown, Pa., James Wesolowsky and wife, Sharon of Uniontown, Pa., Diane Nesnec and husband, John of New Salem, Pa. and Michael Wesolowsky of Uniontown, Pa.; eight grandchildren: Donald Glad, Lisa Budner, Brian Mancini, Laurie Zaph, Kristen Wesolowsky, Jonathan Nesnec, Megan Wesolowsky, and Jessica Wesolowsky; a great granddaughter, Jamie Kay Glad; a brother, John Balas of Uniontown, Pa.; a sister, Mary Latham of Annandale, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in
the HAKY FUNERAL HOME, INC, 515 North Main St., Masontown, Pa. on Monday September 29, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
