Phillip S. “Chuck” Skiles, 63, of Smithfield, Pa., died Thursday, September 25, 2008, in the Uniontown Hospital. Born January 11, 1945, at Carmichaels, Pa., he was a son of the late Clyde and Stella Dunham Skiles.

A member of the Faith Connection Church at Poland Mines, he had been employed as an auto mechanic.

Surviving are his wife, Judith Rankin Skiles; a son, Todd Skiles and his wife, Amanda and a daughter, Windy Skiles and her fiancé, Elijah Frey all of Smithfield; two grandchildren: Nichalos Skiles and Jenna Frey; one brother, Russell; six sisters: Thelma, Joann, Elda, Betty, Delores and Gladys; many nieces and nephews and his mother-in-law, Ruth Rankin.

Friends are invited to join the family for a Memorial Service on Monday, September 29 at 2 p.m. in the FAITH CONNECTION CHURCH, Poland Mines, Dilliner, Pa., with the Revs. Joe and Joann Eicholtz officiating.

Arrangements are in the care of the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Pa.
