Edward Paul Orlosky
Edward Paul Orlosky, age 79, of Dublin, Ohio, formerly of Nemacolin, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, April 2, 2009, in the Sanctuary Nursing Home, Dublin, Ohio. Edward was born on June 1, 1929, in Nemacolin, Pa., the son of Andrew Orlosky and Catherine Yanechko Orlosky.
He served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953.
He was retired from the Radix Wire Company in Cleveland, Ohio.
He was married to Margaret Parker Orlosky. She died in 2005.
He was a former member of Our Lady of Consolation Church in Nemacolin, and American Legion Post No. 343 in Euclid, Ohio.
Edward is survived by two sisters: Mary F. Ringer of Sandy Hook, Connecticut, and Louise Simkovic (Andy) of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Edward was predeceased by his parents, four brothers, Frank Orlosky, Andy Orlosky, and two brothers who died in infancy, and two sisters, Helen Kormanik and Margarite Urbany.
Friends will be received in the LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Paul M. Lesako Funeral Director/Supervisor, 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa., (724-966-5100) today from 5 to 8 p.m. and Monday, April 6, 2009, from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. A Prayer Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11 a.m. at Saint Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels, Pa., with the Rev. John Bauer as Celebrant.
Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Crucible, Pa., with Full Military Rites accorded by American Legion Post No. 400 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3491, Carmichaels.
