Earl & Margaret “Peg” Burnham

Earl Norman Burnham, 90, of Tucson, Ariz. and formerly of Carmichaels, Pa., passed on to his eternal life on February 20, 2007 in Tucson. His wife, Margaret “Peg” Burnham, 94 also of Tucson, and formerly of Carmichaels, passed on to her eternal life on July 2, 2009 in Tucson.

The couple was married on November 21, 1942 and they operated The Dairy Bar in Carmichaels for many years where they enjoyed the town’s people. After selling their business, the couple moved to retire in Tucson.

Surviving are their children and their loved ones: Ben Burnham of Tucson and Jeffrey Burnham and his wife, Deann Neugehauer Burnham of Vail, Ariz.; a daughter, Patricia Ann Berkey and her husband, Scott of Hopkinton, Mass. and twin grandchildren, Elizabeth and Allison Berkey.

A memorial service will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, August 6, 2009 in the YOSKOVICH FUNERAL HOME (724-966-5500), Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, Pa. The Rev. Bruce Judy will officiate.

Interment of their cremains will follow at Laurel Point Cemetery, Carmichaels.
