Jane Marks Platt, age 79, beloved mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many, passed away July 4, 2009 in Boca Raton, FL. Jane was born in Atlantic City, NJ, to Edna Davis and Raymond Marks.

She moved to Uniontown, PA, at age 16, where she graduated from high school.

She married Oscar Platt, and they raised their family and resided in Uniontown, until retiring to Florida.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Oscar.

Survivors include her sons: Michael (Ron) Platt and Jeffery Platt; her daughter, Shelley (Jim) Larson; grandchildren: Erica (Harold) Tawney, Dehn Larson, Anna Larson.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 1 P.M., officiated by Rabbi David at the Temple Israel Cemetery in Hopwood, PA.
