No one injured in two-vehicle mishap
No one was injured when two vehicles crashed at the intersection of Pittsburgh and Mitchell streets in Uniontown Tuesday morning. Police Officer David J. Rutter said the crash occurred at 7:19 a.m. when vehicles driven by Jonathan Taylor, 16, of Smock and Danny Openbrier, 41, of Uniontown collided. Rutter, the police department’s crash reconstruction specialist, said Taylor’s car sheered a fire hydrant owned by the Pennsylvania American Water Co. He noted that the Uniontown Fire Department and emergency personnel from Uniontown Firemen’s Ambulance responded to the crash scene. Ed Cope/Herald-Standard
