Man injured
William Pena, 19, of Waynesburg suffered facial injuries after the vehicle he was driving overturned multiple times on Interstate 70 at 6:49 a.m. Sunday, state police said.

Report issued
State police in Greene County conducted a sobriety checkpoint Friday. Police said during the patrol, troopers made three arrests for drunken driving and issued seven traffic citations. An additional citation was issued for underage drinking and 28 written warnings were also distributed, police said.
Belle Vernon
Report issued
State police in Belle Vernon said they handled 852 calls for service during July, including 151 reports of criminal offenses that resulted in 80 arrests. Police said troopers investigated 39 traffic collisions, including one fatal crash, and made seven drunken driving arrests. During the month, police said they issued 1,133 traffic citations and 630 warnings.
