William Joseph Malinosky
William Joseph Malinosky, age 85, of McClellandtown, Pa., passed away Wednesday August 12, 2009 at his home. He was born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the son of John J. Malinosky and Mary T. (Podlesiewecz) Malinosky.
He was a member of Saint Thomas Roman Catholic Church in Footedale, Pa., the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 47 in Uniontown, Pa., General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood, Pa., Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club and the Elks B.P.O. No 370.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Dolores Malinosky, Pauline Malinosky; brothers, Joseph Malinosky, Anthony Malinosky, Edward Malinosky; and four sisters, Josephine Fullem, Stella Chuey, Marcella Furst and Violet Puskarich.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: William Malinosky and wife Barbara, Robert Malinosky and his wife Loretta, and Carol Hrycko and husband Steve; granddaughters: Jennifer Ludrosky and her husband David and Leah Anne Malinosky; great grandson, Rider Ludrosky; two sisters: Dorothy Shimshock, Audrey Shimshock and her husband Walter; sister-in-law, Margaret Malinosky; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, August 15, 2009 until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Saint Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Footedale, Pa., with Rev. Father Peter L. Peretti as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown, where Military Honors will be accorded by the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.
Parish Wake Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
