Allen E. “Gene” Wiltrout, 79, of Eighty Four died Thursday August the 13, 2009 following a brief illness. He was born December 21, 1929 in Scenery Hill a daughter of the late Allen Cooper and Lucy Barnhart Wiltrout.

Mr. Wiltrout had been employed as a truck driver with Chemical Leaman Tanklines Inc. for over 27 years before retiring in 1991 and also farmed part time.

He attended Emanuel United Presbyterian Church in Eighty four and belonged to Teamsters Local 247. He enjoyed farming, hunting, horse pulling and NASCAR.

Surviving is a daughter, Debbie Fortuna and husband, Bill of Suffolk, VA.; two sons: Dave Wiltrout and wife, Nancy of Eighty Four, Scott Wiltrout and wife, Kimberly of Sycamore; two sisters: Carolyn Johnson and Sandy Kelley both of Washington; two brothers: Alfred Wiltrout of Taylorstown, Clarence “Fizz” Wiltrout of Thurmont, MD.; three grandchildren: Courtney Wiltrout, Justin Wiltrout, Kathleen Ruse, and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased in addition to his parents are his wife, Audrey Kent Wiltrout, a son, Bruce Wiltrout, and a sister, Cora Byrne.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8pm Sunday in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 619 Main St. Bentleyville where funeral services will be held Monday, August 17, 2009 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Peggy Shannon officiating.

Interment will be in Beallsville Cemetery.
