Capt. James E. Riley JAG, USN (Ret.) August 10, 1937
-August 9, 2009 Capt. James E. Riley, JAG, United States Navy (Retired) of N o r t h Myrtle Beach, S o u t h Carolina, died on Sunday, August 9, 2009.
Capt. Riley was predeceased by his father and mother, Dr. John F. Riley and Lou Riley of Weston, West Virginia.
He was the beloved husband of Joyce Dvorchak formerly of Uniontown, Pennsylvania; devoted father of Chris (Kristen) and Julie Burcher (Andy); loving grandfather of Madeline, Cameron, Zack, Sarah, and Drew.
Capt. Riley served for 27 years in the United States Navy, most recently serving as a judge for the U.S. Court of Military Appeals.
After retiring from the Navy in 1991, he served as Director of the West Virginia Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.
The Funeral Service will take place at FORT MYER CHAPEL, Arlington, Virginia at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2009.
Inurnment will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
